MESSAGE TO JAPAN

SONY PICTURES INTERACTIVE 

 

After the 2011 earthquakes in Japan, Sony Corporation of America, asked us to create a site which would allow users all around the world to share messages of encouragement with the people of Japan. 

 

I took over the project about halfway through and was tasked with completing the build and launching the site live. 

 

In addition to the main page which contained a short introduction and then allowed users to post messages of hope to Japan and read the messages others had left - we created a second “broadcast” page which would dissolve from one message to another and  was shown on screens throughout the Sony Corporation facilities in Japan along with various recovery shelters.
